Helpful Hints To Generate #Votes for YOUR favorite #Nonprofit!
Now that your favorite #nonprofit been nominated, it is up to YOU to generate votes.
Below are some hints:
- DO send an email to all your supporters, whether it be from mailchimp (free), constant contact or your regular email.
- "Go Tell It On The Mountain"! DO call/text your friends, family and supporters and tell them all about it! Don't be shy!
- Have a Newsletter going out this month? Highlight this as an article! Or send out postcards.
- Post to your website! Post the VOTE link to your website/blog withdirections!
- A third party vendor is collecting votes. Only 1 vote per email address is allowed. PLEASE reassure your faithful followers that their email will not be used to solicit them, to contact them in the future or be sold to anyone. You can read the privacy statement on their site.
- REMIND people! Don't stop at telling them just once! This goes on for a whole month - People are busy and people forget, so don't be afraid to "encourage" them a few times this month!
- Social Media! Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Vimeo, Vine, Tumbler... you name it! Wherever your followers are, talk to them!
- Follow Us! Follow us on social media and encourage your followers to as well. We will post updates and status reports, often naming the non profits so it is a great opportunity to share our posts and get more exposure for your non profit! Like our page so we can "tag" you in our posts! #bwicares
